About the Role

As a Product Owner for Domestic Payments, you will play a key role in transforming the face of payments at National Bank. You will be responsible for making strategic decisions and acting as a leader to help replace legacy payment systems with a modern solution based on the latest technologies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, prioritize, coordinate, and monitor the modernization of domestic commercial payments;
  • Ensure alignment of the product vision with the Bank's vision and needs;
  • Contribute to the definition of the product's strategic orientations in collaboration with the Delivery Squads, other PO Domestic Payments, and the Lead PO (Senior Director);
  • Use your in-depth business knowledge and solution delivery experience to act as an expert in linking with other initiatives and intervening with numerous internal and external stakeholders;
  • Lead the decision-making process through your recommendations, drawing on your extensive experience in domestic payments and influencing the Payments sector.
About the Team

You will be part of a large team of 10 colleagues, reporting to the Senior Manager Domestic Payments ACSS. As part of a team of senior POs and consultants, you will work with multidisciplinary teams to prioritize and contribute to the delivery of various projects aimed at adapting and modernizing the bank's commercial payment systems in Canada and internationally.
