The pay rate for this position is $25.53 an hour.

Halifax Stanfield Airport is Atlantic Canada's principal full-service airport, providing passengers and cargo clients with direct access to markets across Canada, the United States, Mexico, the Caribbean Basin, Europe, and Asia.

Responsibilities:

  • RAIC application reviews
  • Pass control
  • Fingerprinting
  • Providing customer service to the public and airport community
  • Administrative assistance to the Security Office Assistant with baggage storage, lost and found, key control, and visitor pass sign out

The Pass Control Office Administrator reports directly to the Security Services Manager and works Monday to Friday between 6:00 am and 11:00 pm.

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Administrative training or equivalent experience
  • Computer proficiency
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Good attention to detail
  • Ability to work under pressure

Additional requirements include:

  • Valid RAIC through Transport Canada
  • Security License through the NS Department Of Justice
  • Additional online courses as required

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma/GED, Certificate Diploma or Bachelors Degree in Occupational Health and Safety (or related) field
