**Job Summary:**

**Job Description:**

The Food Counter Attendant is responsible for:

  • Taking customer orders and accepting payment
  • Preparing and serving food, including sandwiches, hamburgers, and beverages
  • Cleaning and sanitizing kitchen areas, including work surfaces, cupboards, and storage areas
  • Stocking refrigerators, cupboards, and salad bars
  • Keeping records of food quantities used or wasted
  • Assisting other workers in the kitchen

**Requirements:**

  • Ability to work well with a variety of people
  • Good judgment and decision-making skills
  • Reliability and responsibility
  • Physical demands include standing and walking for extended periods, some heavy lifting
  • Acceptable oral and written communication skills
