About the RoleThe Response Centre Specialist is a key member of our Loss Prevention Operations team, responsible for monitoring company locations via remote systems. As a front-line point of contact, you'll professionally and efficiently respond to incidents, ensuring documentation meets established protocols.
Responsibilities- Protect company assets and reduce losses
- Remote monitoring of designated company locations
- Provide dispatch information to emergency responders as needed
- Support internal customers
- Prepare incident reports and evidence packages
- Conduct daily compliance audits
- Conduct telephone interviews
- Possess a current provincial security worker license with a security guard designation
- First Aid & W.H.I.M.I.S. training
- Basic working knowledge of computers, networks, and security systems
- Understanding of criminal code sections applicable to Loss Prevention and protocols
- Working knowledge of retail loss prevention and security practices
- Education in criminology, emergency management, justice, or security management is an asset
- Ability to maintain a professional demeanor in critical situations
- Ability to work independently in a demanding environment
- Strong time management, organizational, and prioritization skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of company information
- Ability to interview and gather relevant information

RequirementsCandidates must be available to work a flexible schedule, Monday through Sunday, 40 hours per week. The Response Centre is a 24/7, 365 days per year operation, and employees will be scheduled on a rotational basis for shifts that are days, afternoons, evenings, and overnights.
