QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Registered and in good standing with the College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario.
  • Must hold CPR or BCLS certification.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Proven ability to handle stress and conflicts professionally.
  • Keen to learn new techniques.
  • Completion of cross-sectional anatomy and contrast injection courses is beneficial.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team effectively.
  • Committed to departmental goals and objectives.
  • Flexible, punctual, and excellent attendance record.
  • Available to work all shifts.
HOURS:

All shifts are scheduled on a rotation basis, including days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays as required.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Meet education standards to perform as a competent Medical Radiation Technologist.
  • Provide safe, appropriate, and timely care using available resources efficiently.
  • Respect patient rights and encourage their involvement in care.
  • Participate in quality control and assurance programs.
  • Adhere to radiation safety guidelines and ethical standards.
  • Educate patients, providers, and the public on imaging benefits and risks.
  • Operate, maintain, and ensure the quality of imaging equipment.
  • Assist in student training and communicate progress effectively.
  • Coordinate procedure scheduling and maintain proper documentation.
  • Support patient care and maintain professionalism in the workplace.
