Assistant Professor – Chemical and Biological Engineering

The Department of Chemical and Biological Engineering at the University of Ottawa invites outstanding applicants to join our team as a tenure-track faculty member at the Assistant or Associate Professor level.
About the PositionWe are seeking a highly qualified individual with expertise in the design of sustainable materials to contribute to our faculty's initiatives in design engineering and technological entrepreneurship.
Key Responsibilities- Teaching and mentoring undergraduate and graduate students
- Conducting research and publishing scholarly work
- Providing academic service to the department and university
- Supervising graduate students and guiding their research
- Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering or a related field
- Excellent research and teaching track record in design of sustainable materials
- Strong commitment to interdisciplinary collaboration and graduate training
- Excellent communication skills in English or French
- Bilingualism (French/English) is an asset, with a preference for candidates who can teach in both languages
- Registration as a Professional Engineer in Canada is required
