Chemical Engineering Faculty Position

The Faculty of Engineering at the University of Ottawa invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position in Chemical and Biological Engineering.
Duties- Teaching activities, including core and elective courses in Chemical Engineering in both French and English.
- Scholarly activities, such as research in the candidate's areas of expertise.
- Academic service activities, including supervision of graduate students.
- A commitment to teaching and graduate training.
- A strong track record in and a commitment to interdisciplinary collaboration.
- Bilingualism (French/English) is required.
- Registration as a Professional Engineer in Canada needs to be satisfied at the time of tenure and thereafter.
Undergraduate degree and Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering or equivalent.
ExperienceA demonstrated excellent research or professional track record in at least one of the Department's focus areas of research: Biomedical Engineering, Clean Technologies, Materials Development Engineering, Process Engineering, and Renewable Energy.
