The University of Toronto invites applications for a full-time tenure stream position in Theoretical Biological Physics.
Job Summary:We seek a highly qualified candidate to join our faculty as a Professor/Associate Professor in Theoretical Biological Physics. The successful candidate will have a demonstrated record of excellence in research and teaching, and will be expected to lead a strong independent research program in Theoretical Biological Physics.
Responsibilities:- Conduct research in Theoretical Biological Physics and publish high-impact papers in top-ranked journals.
- Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in Physics and Biological Physics.
- Contribute to the enrichment of undergraduate and graduate programs, including the Department's Physics and Biological Physics Specialist undergraduate programs.
- Engage in collaborative research with the University of Toronto's life science and biomedical research communities.
- PhD degree in Physics or a related field.
- Demonstrated record of excellence in research and teaching.
- Established international reputation in Theoretical Biological Physics.
- Ability to lead a strong independent research program.
