Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Asset Protection Associate to join our team at Walmart Canada. As a key member of our security team, you will play a critical role in maintaining a safe and secure work environment for our customers, associates, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct daily security patrols of the facility to ensure the integrity of our assets and prevent shrinkage.
  • Investigate instances of financial and physical loss, and communicate findings to Store Leadership and Market Loss Prevention Manager as required.
  • Support store evacuation procedures in case of fire or other emergency, and participate in store task team responsibilities as assigned.
  • Conduct thorough investigations into instances of internal theft and/or dishonesty, external organized retail crime, and other cases as assigned through Walmart Canada Global Ethics.
  • Communicate complex information to various stakeholders, often presenting different perspectives and clarifying issues.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must possess a Security Guard License and have excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Preferred qualifications include experience in loss prevention or a related field.
