Loss Prevention Officer

London Drugs Limited is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Loss Prevention Officer to join our team. As a Loss Prevention Officer, you will play a critical role in protecting our assets and preventing losses.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct surveillance and investigations to identify areas of loss and develop strategies to prevent them
  • Work collaboratively with the Loss Prevention team to implement shrink reduction plans and maintain the overall security of our locations
  • Identify and apprehend individuals committing criminal offenses against the company
  • Secure evidence, write reports, and prepare documents for court testimony
  • Perform special assignments, including lock repair, key control, staff awareness, and orientation
Qualifications:
  • Proven ability to remain calm and respond effectively in emergency situations
  • Commitment to protecting people and property in a safe and legal manner
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and work under strict confidentiality
  • High ethical standards and a commitment to personal and professional integrity
  • Excellent communication and report-writing skills, with the ability to testify in court
  • Valid Class 5 driver's license and own vehicle
  • Availability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Previous Loss Prevention experience or related experience in the Criminal Justice system is an asset
