Industrial Mechanic/Millwright Job Opportunity Join Our Team as an Industrial Mechanic/Millwright

We are seeking a skilled Industrial Mechanic/Millwright to join our Maintenance Department team in Sudbury, Ontario. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities.

About the Role
  • Install, dismantle, assemble, construct, erect, move, replace, inspect, adjust, maintain, and repair mechanical and process equipment and structures throughout mines and plants.
  • Install, inspect, service, and test hoisting ropes and shaft conveyances.
  • Perform metal welding excluding pressure welding.
  • Align with work safety policies and safety regulations.
About You
  • Fully Licensed Journeyperson:
    • A valid Industrial Mechanic / Millwright trade certificate for the province of Ontario (433A) is required.
  • Experience:
    • Minimum 4 years of industrial experience is preferred.
  • Skills:
    • Thorough knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical principles is preferred.
    • Experience installing, maintaining, and repairing equipment (hydraulic, pneumatic, power transmission, mechanical drives, conveyor systems, pumps, overhead cranes) is considered an asset.
    • Oxy acetylene cutting and burning is considered an asset.
    • Mechanical and hydraulic blueprint reading is considered an asset.
