Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Millwright Assembly Specialist to join our team at Weir. As a key member of our operations, you will be responsible for the assembly, repair, and overhaul of process equipment, including HPGR, pumps, cyclones, and valves.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assembly and Repair: Assemble, repair, and overhaul process equipment, including HPGR, pumps, cyclones, and valves, to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
- Problem-Solving: Support clients by problem-solving mechanical issues in both a shop and field environment, utilizing your technical expertise to resolve complex problems.
- Installation and Commissioning: Install and commission rotating assemblies in the field, including grout and alignment, to ensure seamless integration with existing systems.
- Communication: Communicate effectively with engineering, management, and other trades colleagues to determine suitable courses of repair and ensure alignment with company goals.
- Safety First: Demonstrate unwavering commitment to our zero-harm behaviors, supporting our drive towards developing a world-class safety culture.
Requirements:
- Red Seal Millwright Certificate/Ticket
- 5-10 Years of Experience
- Electrical Experience or PLC Programming Experience (Asset)
