What you'll do here:

  • Provide coaching, professional guidance and advice related to human resources management, taking into account best practices and trends, and ensuring that decisions and management practices are made in compliance with legislation and the company's values
  • Assist with/conduct investigations, aid managers in conflict management and other issues
  • Search and analyze data and recommend potential solutions to a variety of tactical and operational issues in human resources management
  • Conduct exit interviews and analyse data / trends to share back with the leadership team
  • Make salary recommendation based on compensation best practices
  • Participate in the deployment of Business Unit initiatives and corporate programs and in other projects as needed
  • Provide HR support as needed to the HR Claims teams for Corporate & Atlantic Claims
  • Contribute to the HR process improvement

What you bring to the table:

  • University degree in Industrial Relations or Human Resources Management with three (3) years of experience in human resources or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to evolve in a multi-site, matrix organization and in a constantly evolving environment.
  • Strong communication skills, strong ability to influence and relational ease with all hierarchical levels.
  • Rigor, analytical and synthesis skills.
  • Knowledge in many areas of human resources including talent management, performance management and employee relations, disability management, change management, engagement, compensation, organizational development, workforce planning and succession planning.
  • CHRP and/or CHRL designation preferred.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Suite
  • For candidates located in Quebec, bilingualism is required considering the necessity to interact on a regular basis with English-speaking colleagues across the country.
