Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced High Net Worth Financial Planner to join our team at TD Bank. As a key member of our wealth management team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional client experiences and providing expert guidance on tax, retirement, estate, and overall wealth planning to high net worth individuals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Focus: Demonstrate a commitment to client-centricity by providing a legendary client experience through every interaction, ensuring maximum retention and growth.
  • Retirement, Tax, and Estate Planning: Provide professional support and solutions to clients, preparing customized wealth plans independently on a timely basis.
  • Research and Development: Conduct independent research to address clients' key issues and stay up-to-date on relevant wealth planning developments.
  • Client Meetings and Education: Participate in client meetings and deliver educational seminars as needed.
Shareholder Expectations
  • Strategy Development: Plan, recommend, and implement a strategy to deliver industry-leading HNW planning solutions, supporting the growth of PWM.
  • Compliance: Deliver HNW Planning solutions in a manner that is compliant with regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • Business Development: Proactively identify, introduce, and follow up on opportunities for complementary businesses and solutions.
  • Revenue Generation: Assist advisors and relationship managers with business development, opportunity spotting, and revenue generation.

  • Teamwork: Participate fully as a member of the team, supporting a positive work environment that promotes service, quality, innovation, and teamwork.
  • Relationship Building: Develop and maintain good relationships with investment advisors, relationship managers, and their business leaders within TD Wealth Management.
  • Knowledge Sharing: Provide thought leadership and industry knowledge for your area of expertise, participating in knowledge transfer within the team and business unit.
Requirements
  • Education: Undergraduate degree and advanced professional degree (CA or LL.B/JD).
  • Experience: Minimum 10 years of practical experience.
  • Certifications: Certified financial planning designation an asset (CFP, Pl. Fin, etc.).
