High Net Worth Planner

TD is seeking a High Net Worth Planner to work with TD advisors to deliver high-value customized guidance on tax, retirement, estate, and overall wealth planning to HNW and UHNW clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Customer Focus:
    • Provide legendary client planning experiences to maximize retention and growth.
    • Prepare customized wealth plans independently on a timely basis.
    • Carry out independent research to address client key issues.
    • Participate in client meetings and delivery of client educational seminars.
  • Shareholder Value:
    • Plan and implement a strategy to deliver industry-leading HNW planning solutions.
    • Deliver HNW planning solutions in a compliant manner.
    • Proactively spot and introduce opportunities for complimentary businesses and solutions.
    • Execute on TD Wealth's high net worth strategy.
    • Assist advisors and relationship managers with business development and revenue generation.
  • Employee/Team:
    • Participate fully as a member of the team and support a positive work environment.
    • Develop and maintain good relationships with investment advisors and relationship managers.
    • Provide thought leadership and industry knowledge for own area of expertise.
    • Keep current on emerging trends and developments.
Requirements:
  • Undergraduate degree.
  • Advanced professional degree (CA or LL.B/JD).
  • Certified financial planning designation an asset (CFP, Pl. Fin, etc.).
  • Minimum 10 years of practical experience.
