As a Learning and Development Specialist, you will be responsible for leading the design, implementation, and evaluation of learning initiatives across the organization. You will collaborate with key stakeholders to assess training needs, develop innovative learning solutions, and deliver engaging programs that drive performance and enhance skills.
NOTE: Please be advised that this role is available as a fixed-term 12 – 18 month contract.
What You Will Be Doing
- Partner with departmental leaders to assess learning needs and develop tailored training solutions.
- Lead the analysis of learning needs and objectives, working closely with departmental leaders to identify training priorities.
- Utilize instructional design principles to create engaging and interactive learning experiences that cater to diverse learning styles and preferences.
- Leverage learning technologies and platforms to enhance the accessibility and effectiveness of training materials, ensuring a seamless learning experience for all employees.
- Facilitate training sessions and workshops, demonstrating strong presentation skills and the ability to engage learners at all levels of the organization.
- Evaluate the impact and effectiveness of training programs through feedback, assessments, and performance metrics, and make data-driven recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in learning and development, proactively identifying opportunities to innovate and enhance our training offerings.
What We Would Like From You
- A Bachelor's degree in Education, Human Resources, Organizational Development, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience working in a learning & development with a proven track record of designing and delivering effective training programs.
- Strong understanding of adult learning principles, instructional design methodologies, and training delivery techniques.
- Proficiency in learning management systems (LMS), e-learning authoring tools, and other learning technologies.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills, with the ability to engage and inspire learners across all levels of the organization.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Creative thinker with a passion for innovation and continuous improvement.
