Position Summary

The Vision Centre Manager oversees the daily operations of Division 30, ensuring compliance with company policies, professional standards, and regulations.

What you'll do
  • Report to the DM for professional services.
  • Deliver sales budget and manage wages in line with P&L.
  • Develop the optical business by implementing programs and enhancing the Walmart brand.
  • Establish strong relationships with Optometrists and healthcare providers both within Walmart and the community.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues to maintain excellent customer satisfaction.
  • Handle prescription orders from Customers and Doctors.
  • Maintain a safe work environment, including equipment upkeep and emergency procedures adherence.
  • Ensure compliance with Provincial & Federal Guidelines for dispensing eyewear.
  • Keep the Vision Centre operational during business hours.
  • Delegate tasks to associates as needed within established guidelines.
  • Stay informed about regional regulations and work accordingly.
