- Order Processing: Prioritize, process, and coordinate physicians' orders, ensuring timely and accurate completion of tasks.
- Scheduling: Schedule and coordinate patient appointments, tests, and procedures, ensuring efficient use of resources.
- Chart Maintenance: Assemble and maintain patient charts, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information.
- Timekeeping: Maintain accurate timekeeping records for regular and casual staff, ensuring timely submission to payroll.
- Education: Grade 12, medical terminology, and graduation of a recognized Nursing Unit Clerk program.
- Experience: One year of recent, related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Skills: Ability to communicate effectively, deal with others effectively, and operate related equipment.
