Nike Sherway Gardens Assistant Manager Job Description

As a Nike Sherway Gardens Assistant Manager, you will be responsible for executing retail strategies, driving sales, and delivering exceptional customer experiences. You will work closely with the Store Manager to achieve business objectives and lead a team of retail professionals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Store Manager in managing store operations, including sales, merchandising, and accounting
  • Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of business support staff
  • Set priorities for the team to ensure task completion and coordinate work activities with other supervisors
  • Apply management skills to improve efficiency and accomplish operational objectives within the store
  • Recruit and hire top talent to ensure a diverse and energetic work environment
  • Develop plans to meet short-term objectives and prepare statistical and narrative reports of store activities
  • Communicate with the Visual team and oversee physical site maintenance
Requirements:
  • Extensive retail experience, including 2+ years in management
  • Enthusiasm and passion about sports and/or sports fashion
  • Availability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays, and some overnights as required
