About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Dietary Aide to join our team at Sienna Senior Living. As a Dietary Aide, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional care to our residents by ensuring the highest quality food service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and serve meals to residents, following proper food handling techniques and maintaining a clean and safe environment.
  • Assist in the preparation of meals, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation.
  • Take orders from residents and serve meals and beverages, following their dietary needs and preferences.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, including the kitchen, dining room, and storage areas.
  • Perform other duties as assigned, including cleaning and sanitizing equipment and utensils.
Requirements
  • Completion of a Food Service Worker program from a recognized college or private career college.
  • Current Food Handler's Certificate.
  • Ability to operate institutional cooking equipment, including dishwashers, toasters, and meat slicers.
  • Effective verbal and written English communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a high level of productivity.
