Elevate your career at Eldorado Resort, a world-class destination situated on the shores of Okanagan Lake. As a General Manager - Lakeside Dining, you will be responsible for leading our multiple outlets at Hotel Eldorado, ensuring exceptional guest experiences and driving revenue growth.
About the Role:
- Manage and motivate a team of Food & Beverage professionals to deliver outstanding service and achieve sales targets.
- Develop and implement training programs to maintain high standards of professionalism and guest satisfaction.
- Recruit, train, and schedule team members to meet business needs.
- Lead by example, ensuring proficiency in all outlet positions and maintaining a positive work environment.
- Monitor and control liquor and beer/wine inventories, maintaining a pre-determined level.
- Inspire team members to drive revenue sales and reward top performers.
- Encourage quality guest service, striving to "raise the bar" and exceed expectations.
- Respond promptly to guest issues and concerns, ensuring timely resolutions.
- Ensure all policies and procedures are adhered to, acting as a role model and providing positive reinforcement.
- Be proactive in addressing team member requests, concerns, and issues.
- Manage restaurant expenses to meet annual budget targets.
Requirements:
- Minimum 4 years of Restaurant Management experience, with multiple outlet experience an asset.
- Strong passion for food and beverage, with current knowledge of trends.
- Serving It Right, Food Safe, and First Aid Certificates an asset.
- WSET or equivalent, bartender certifications/training an asset.
- Proven track record of driving restaurant performance and revenue growth, maximizing profit.
- Guest experience-focused, with a proven ability to establish and build relations within the local community.
- Computer skills, including Squirrel and Excel.
