We are seeking a highly experienced and results-driven Regional Vice President of Commercial and Industrial Sales, Canada to lead our Canadian sales team and drive business growth in the region.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to capitalize on the strength of our product portfolio and the Canadian sales force.
- Establish market and target customer strategies in conjunction with the Sales Leadership team.
- Maintain key customer relationships and develop strategies for increasing penetration within our addressable market.
- Lead, develop, inspire, and motivate the sales and agency teams to achieve sales goals and initiatives.
- Manage the overall sales process, setting appropriate metrics for sales pipeline management and utilizing available enterprise tools to improve processes and increase sales force effectiveness.
- Oversee the recruiting, hiring, and development of the sales organization.
- Implement company promotions and marketing initiatives through the network to achieve goals for the Canadian distribution network.
- Successful track record of performance, effective sales leadership, and motivation with excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
- 10 years of experience in the lighting/electrical industry.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Marketing, or related fields.
- Experience using CRM tools such as Salesforce.
- Willingness and ability to challenge the status quo with a bias towards action, thoroughly analyzing problems and making and defending decisions supported by data.
- High level of energy and commitment.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced matrix environment.
- Experience developing effective relationships with a variety of channel partners, including end users, the specification community, electrical wholesalers, and contractors.
- Travel requirement will vary from 30 – 60%.
