Job Title: Occupational Therapist Degree

Job Summary:

This position provides a clinical role within the Occupational Therapy department, focusing on the rehabilitation of individuals of all ages. The Occupational Therapist completes assessments and treatments according to departmental procedures and established standards of practice.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct occupational therapy assessments and treatments
  • Develop and implement treatment plans
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
  • Provide education and training to patients and families

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Occupational Therapy degree
  • Registered Occupational Therapist (OT) licensure
  • Valid Class 5 driver's license

Competencies:

  • Organizational skills
  • Communication skills
  • Decision-making skills
  • Leadership skills

Knowledge and Abilities:

  • Ability to work independently
  • Positive approach to challenging situations

Other Information:

  • Registered/eligible with the Saskatchewan Society of Occupational Therapists
  • Preference to HSAS members as per the SAHO/HSAS Collective Agreement
