We are seeking a highly skilled Mission Intelligence Coordinator Instructor to join our Canadian Remotely Piloted Aircraft System (RPAS) Operational Training Unit (OTU) instructor cadre in Ottawa. This is a full-time position.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver the Mission Intelligence Coordinator (MIC) MQ-9B course, incorporating theory, synthetic, and live phases.
- Provide MIC subject matter expertise (SME) support to the joint Pilot and Sensor Operator (SO) MQ-9B course.
- Offer oral and written SME to other members of the CAE Mission Crew cadre.
- Ensure delivered training is consistent with training objectives and teaching points in the training plan, per applicable training standards.
- Deliver synthetic training using complex simulators and scenario generation systems.
- Compile student sortie progress and course debrief reports.
- Report instructional issues and deficiencies relative to the course delivery.
- Work autonomously to tackle a broad scope of requirements for Mission Crew student and customer representatives.
- Effectively deliver oral presentations to Mission Crew students, customers, and CAE management.
- Contribute to the development of courseware and teaching aids.
- Liaise and contribute to student course scheduling.
- Perform occasional travel in support of the project.
- Eligibility to work in Canada as a Canadian Citizen, Permanent Resident, or on a valid Work permit.
- Ability to obtain and maintain both Controlled Goods and a Government of Canada NATO SECRET security clearance.
- Superior interpersonal and communication skills.
- Previous experience with MQ series platforms.
- Formal training in Instructional Techniques.
- Exposure to Signals intelligence and/or Radar Intelligence.
- Experience with Distributed Common Ground System (DCGS) construct.
- Intelligence support to Maritime tasking experience.
- Experience in supporting kinetic effects.
- Exposure to Operating in Tactical airspace.
- Experience in supporting intelligence-focused Close Air Support.
- Experience with a Standards Unit or Central Flying School.
- >100 formal instructional hours.
