Summary

As a member of the Bell Media team, you will participate in the evolution and management of the product lifecycle, from design to execution and improvements, all while meeting deadlines and requirements. This position is inherently multidisciplinary, and the successful candidate will work with internal partners, including the Content and Product Manager teams, to adhere to the product roadmap and ensure the quality of products for consumers.

The Product Manager will work with the Senior Product Manager and stakeholders to define the vision, strategy, and required features of products for the Bell Media Audio portfolio.

A day in the life of a Product Manager: There is no real typical day in the life of a Product Manager at Bell Media. You will have key responsibilities to assume, including strategy, research, roadmap development, analysis, communication, and product performance. You play a strategic role in developing short- and medium-term vision and objectives while actively participating in initiative deployments. You are responsible for defining your optimal day by thinking holistically about your role and how you can deliver the best value to the organization and your customers. To collaborate, our teams use tools such as Jira, Confluence, Slack, and Webex.

Key Responsibilities

Contribute to the vision and objectives of the Bell Media digital audio program and communicate them clearly, as well as the role it plays in the execution of the overall digital strategy.

  • Work with the Principal Product Manager to achieve the product vision and with Product Owners to translate it into a product roadmap.
  • Compile and analyze datapoints to support strategy and build business cases
  • Analyze, monitor and improve performance of products, workflows and efforts
  • Support product activation, adoption and use in collaboration with internal teams
  • Harvest and translate product issues and requirements for development team
  • Steer communication with our stakeholders with weekly, monthly and quarterly meetings
  • Gather, create and communicate best practices with content teams and other teams when required
  • Manage, document, communicate and monitor activation of products, (features and fixes) and/or content initiatives
  • Document product and workflow strategies
  • Support digital transformation & provide latest in digital news and trends
Critical Qualifications
  • At least three years of experience in agile product management
  • The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented, self-directed creative ambassador who is eager to take initiative and get things done.
  • Ability to translate the organization's vision into a product vision.
  • Efficiency in organization, prioritization, and planning.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to perceive user trends or changes through reports and data points.
  • Tenacity and a creative approach to achieving goals and creating value.
  • Mature, strong work ethic, engaged, enthusiastic, and open to learning.
  • Experience in the field of digital media and telecommunications is an asset.
  • Bilingualism is essential (candidate must master French and English, both verbally and in writing).
