Job Summary

EERS Global Technologies Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Audio Developer to join our team. As an Audio Developer, you will be responsible for designing and developing audio algorithms and systems that meet the company's high standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Characterize audio signals using advanced techniques such as FFT, spectrograms, transient separation, formant analysis, and envelope extraction.
  • Design and implement acoustical test processes to extract frequency response measurements and dynamic range.
  • Develop and implement acoustical simulation processes to predict the frequency response of headphones.
  • Participate in the design and characterization of various audio algorithms.
  • Summarize, document, and communicate findings, solutions, and strategies.
  • Participate in data collection, develop experiment protocols, and organize user studies.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Audio/Music Technology, or related field.
  • Strong knowledge of DSP concepts, including time-frequency analysis, FFT analysis-synthesis, and expertise in one or more of the following: denoising, dynamic equalizers, limiters/maximizers, compressors, active noise cancellation, feedback control, echo cancellation, and adaptive filtering.
  • Familiarity with MATLAB, Python, or C++ programming languages.
  • Knowledge of using DAWs such as Audacity and Reaper.
  • Experience with sound and recording equipment such as microphones, audio interfaces, loudspeakers, and digital mixing consoles.
  • Experience with automation and efficient workflows to analyze and process audio data.
  • Basic knowledge of statistical analysis.
  • Basic knowledge of analog circuits and basic circuit simulation.

  • Strong technical aptitude, with a structured and detail-oriented approach.
