We are on the lookout for an HR Coordinator to become a part of our largest sawmill situated in High Level, Alberta. The High Level Lumber Division is dedicated to producing forest products in a safe and sustainable manner for global customers to construct their homes and communities.

Our ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of administrative experience
  • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to juggle multiple tasks while paying close attention to detail
  • Demonstrated capability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
  • Prior experience in HR and/or recruitment is advantageous
  • Post-secondary education in HR, Business, or a related field is a plus
  • Ongoing commitment to professional growth is highly regarded
  • Experience in a manufacturing setting is desirable

In this position, your responsibilities will include:

  • Reporting to the HR Business Partner and collaborating closely with site leadership
  • Assisting in the implementation of HR initiatives aligned with operational and corporate objectives
  • Executing an efficient hourly recruitment, selection, and onboarding process
  • Maintaining employee records and applicant tracking systems
  • Supporting programs related to employee retention, development, Labor Relations, and engagement in partnership with the HRBP

  • Additionally, you'll receive an extra northern allowance on top of your base pay
