TD Bank seeks a customer-focused professional to deliver exceptional service and advice to customers in a fast-paced branch environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create a positive customer experience through every interaction and contribute to ongoing branch improvements
  • Act as the premier lobby leader, greeting and engaging customers in various conversations
  • Use curiosity to discover and advise on meeting customer needs
  • Train and educate customers on mobile, ATM, and online banking, as well as digital trends
  • Educate customers on TD Bank products and services, focusing on Everyday Banking and personal lending
  • Handle customer problems, ensuring timely and effective resolutions
  • Maintain a professional and inviting branch environment
  • Support frontline transactions and adhere to premises, marketing, and regulatory guidelines

Business Objectives:

  • Contribute to business growth by identifying advice opportunities and referrals
  • Promote full suite of products, advice, and banking capabilities
  • Understand and apply operating policies and procedures
  • Support Operational Excellence and timely business process completion
  • Escalate non-standard or high-risk transactions as necessary
  • Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with relevant rules and regulations
  • Support process improvement opportunities and due diligence for customer transactions
  • Be knowledgeable of and comply with Bank Code of Conduct

Breadth and Depth:

  • Requires developed knowledge and skills to offer service and advice for a range of products and services
  • Requires a broad knowledge and understanding of the full product suite, services, and processes
  • Provides recommendations and guidance to customers and internal partners
  • Provides solutions to problems in customer situations that are atypical or infrequent
  • Evaluates issues, errors, and problems based on practices and existing precedents
  • Understands how the customer or advice team integrates with others to accomplish team objectives
  • Impacts the quality, timeliness, and effectiveness of the advice team or services provided
  • Suggests improvements to work practices and advice or customer service processes
  • Requires full proficiency gained through job-related training to perform a range of activities

Experience and Education:

  • High School diploma and/or 1+ years of relevant experience
  • Post-Secondary or Undergraduate degree (in a related field) preferred
