We are currently hiring for a Project Coordinator at our Head Office in Edmonton, AB.

Job Description:
As a Commercial Project Coordinator, you will be responsible for supporting and coordinating commercial projects within the organization. You will collaborate with various teams and stakeholders to ensure the successful planning, execution, and completion of projects, meeting business objectives and client requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in developing project plans, timelines, and budgets for commercial projects.
  • Coordinate project activities and ensure effective communication of project plans to all stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align with project goals.
Communication and Documentation:
  • Act as the main contact for project-related communications and documentation.
  • Organize project meetings, prepare agendas, and document meeting minutes.
  • Provide project status updates to internal teams and external stakeholders.
Resource Management:
  • Aid in resource allocation and coordination to support project activities.
  • Identify and escalate resource constraints and potential risks affecting project timelines.
Risk Management:
  • Identify project risks and issues, developing mitigation plans with the project team.
  • Monitor and address project risks and issues promptly.
Reporting and Analysis:
  • Generate regular project status reports and performance metrics for stakeholders.
  • Analyze project data to provide insights for decision-making and continuous improvement.
Quality Assurance:
  • Support quality assurance processes for commercial projects.
  • Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and client expectations.
Compliance and Documentation:
  • Ensure project activities comply with regulations and company policies.
  • Maintain project documentation according to company standards.
Stakeholder Engagement:
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Act as a liaison between stakeholders and project teams to align on objectives.
Change Management:
  • Support change management activities related to project scope, schedule, and resources.
  • Communicate changes to project plans and ensure all relevant parties are informed.
Continuous Improvement:
  • Identify process improvement opportunities for project coordination.
  • Contribute to implementing best practices for commercial project management.
Qualifications and Skills (Expanded):
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing priorities and deadlines effectively.
  • Experience in commercial project management, including contract and procurement processes.
  • Knowledge of financial principles, budget management, and risk management.
  • Certification in project management (e.g., PMP or CAPM) is advantageous.
  • Proficiency with project management software like Microsoft Project and Procore.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, project management, or related field.
  • Previous experience in project coordination or management, preferably in a commercial setting.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with diverse teams.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software.
  • Knowledge of commercial project management methodologies and best practices.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality results.
