We are excited to offer a scholarship for women who are enrolled in post-secondary STEM, Art, or Design programs and are interested in pursuing a career in the gaming industry. Through this initiative, we hope to bring new perspectives, ideas, and experiences to our industry and promote greater diversity and inclusivity.
The Kabam GameChanger Scholarship will award $5,000 CAD to the successful candidate, aimed at supporting your educational journey. But it's more than just a monetary value. It's an investment in your potential, a recognition of your passion, and a stepping stone toward becoming a leader in the gaming industry.

  • You are enrolled as a full-time student in a post-secondary STEM, Art, Design, or video game-related program at an accredited college, university, or post-secondary institution in Canada.
  • You are a legal resident of Canada and currently residing in Canada
  • Ideally, you possess a cumulative GPA of at least 3.0 on a 4.0 scale, or 80%.
  • You identify as a woman, including cisgender women, trans women, non-binary, gender-queer, AFAB individuals, two-spirit.
  • You will need to submit a completed scholarship application, including an essay of no more than 500 words that showcases your interest in pursuing a career in game development. You are welcome to submit a video response if preferred.
  • You must have demonstrated a passion for the video game industry and a desire to pursue a career in this field.

These can include professors, previous employers, or other professionals who can attest to your experience and strengths. We may reach out to them to verify the information you've shared
Applications will be accepted between September 1 and October 15, 2024 Please ensure that you have submitted all information required with your application as noted below.
The winner of the GameChanger scholarship will be announced in December 2024.
