We are seeking a highly detail-oriented and organized Environmental Technician to join our team. This is a 6-month term, full-time position located in Charlottetown, PEI.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare, compile, and sort documents for data entry.
- Verify and log receipt of data.
- Transcribe source data into the required electronic format.
- Transfer information from paper formats into computer files.
- Perform high-volume data entry using word processing, spreadsheet, database, or other computer software.
- Verify integrity of data by comparing it to source documents.
- Review data for errors, missing pages, or missing information and resolve any discrepancies.
- Grade 12 diploma or equivalent.
- A university degree is considered an asset.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask effectively.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks with a high degree of accuracy.
- Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision.
- Starting hourly rate of $22.00 per hour.
