Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Production Technician to join our team at Elanco. As a Production Technician, you will be responsible for performing biologics recovery and purification processes using TFF units, columns, and chromatography systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process Execution: Execute biologics recovery and purification processes using TFF units, columns, and chromatography systems.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Operate and maintain production instruments and equipment to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Quality Control: Perform column packing, integrity testing, and process analysis to ensure compliance with cGMP guidelines and HSE regulations.
  • Documentation: Write and review batch records, SOPs, and qualification documents to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Supply Chain Management: Purchase raw materials and update records in SAP to ensure timely and accurate delivery.

Requirements:

  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: 1+ years of experience in biologics purification.
  • Skills: Experience with cGMP guidelines and HSE regulations.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Education: 2-year biotechnology diploma or bachelor's degree in life science.
  • Experience: Experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing in GMP environment.
  • Skills: Experience in performing investigations and writing deviations.
  • Computer Skills: Intermediate computer skills using MS Office.

Working Conditions:

  • Shift Work: Shift work required, including some weekends.
  • Physical Demands: Must be able to lift up to 25lbs and stand for long periods.
  • Environmental Factors: Requires frequent ladder or stair climbing.

The salary range for this position is $52,000 to $65,000 based on experience and education.
