Job ResponsibilitiesThe Unit Coordinator will be responsible for the day-to-day operations and patient/resident flow of the integrated facility. This includes:
- Facilitating the encouragement of critical thinking skills of the nursing staff as they are fostered to work to their full scope of practice.
- Coordinating the day-to-day activities of the nursing staff to ensure efficient and effective patient care.
- Developing and implementing policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Providing guidance and support to nursing staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A minimum of three (3) years relevant long term care nursing experience.
- A minimum of one (1) year supervisory experience.
- A Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) degree.
- Nursing diploma is acceptable.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Basic - Change management skills.
- Basic - Computer skills.
