About the Role
  • As a Business Development and Strategy Analyst, you will play a critical role in identifying opportunities for growth, developing and launching new products and services, and analyzing market trends and competitor activity.
  • You will work closely with cross-functional teams across North America, Europe, and Asia to drive business growth and expansion.
Your Responsibilities
  • Market Research: Conduct in-depth research on companies, technologies, and markets to identify opportunities for growth and expansion.
  • Financial Modeling: Develop and launch new products and services, and perform strategic, market, and financial analysis to identify new opportunities and assess risks.
  • Business and Corporate Development: Evaluate alliances and partnership opportunities, and provide analysis and recommendations to management.
  • Data Analysis: Analyze data to support recommendations to stakeholders regarding opportunities and trends.
  • Market Trends: Monitor emerging trends in our target markets and other areas of strategic interest, and acquire and maintain knowledge of new technologies and potential future acquisitions.
  • Competitive Analysis: Benchmark and report on competitive business models and developments.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a technical field, such as engineering.
  • At least 3 years of post-secondary experience, preferably in investment banking, venture capital, and/or management consulting.
  • Experience in market research, including gathering data on market trends, customer preferences, and competitor activities.
  • Experience in analysis, interpretation, and the ability to make succinct insights and recommendations supported by data.
  • Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to synthesize and present findings to key stakeholders and executive audiences.
