Magna Wellness Coordinator

Magna is a leading mobility technology company that is shaping the future of transportation. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Wellness Coordinator to join our team in Aurora, Ontario.

About the Role

The Wellness Coordinator will be responsible for promoting health and wellness education, health screenings, and health activities within Magna's manufacturing facilities in Canada and the United States. This is a unique opportunity to make a positive impact on the health and well-being of our employees.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement health promotion programs, including on-site wellness presentations, newsletters, online resources, and health screenings
  • Collaborate with Human Resources to plan and coordinate wellness initiatives
  • Design and produce marketing materials, presentations, and reports to evaluate the effectiveness of wellness programs
  • Develop and maintain visual media library and maintain a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office products, Canva, and Adobe Photoshop
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Health Promotion Manager
Requirements
  • Health-related degree, particularly in kinesiology or health sciences
  • Two or more years of related Health Promotions experience
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Microsoft Office products, Adobe Acrobat, Lotus Notes, Internet Explorer, Adobe Photoshop
  • Working experience with Canva
  • A team player with a positive and professional disposition
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to multi-task and work to tight deadlines
  • Self-starter who requires minimal supervision
Work Environment
  • Shift work is required to accommodate education sessions and presentations at manufacturing sites
  • The Coordinator will be required to travel on a regular basis within Ontario, largely within the GTA, with some travel to more remote sites
