Warehouse Operator

PAL Aerospace is a proud partner of Airbus Defence & Space for the Government of Canada's Fixed Wing Search and Rescue aircraft replacement (FWSAR) program. As a key player in this significant project, we are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse Operator to join our team at our FWSAR base in Greenwood, NS.

About the Role

This is a fast-paced, data-driven position that requires excellent time management skills and a strong attention to detail. As a Warehouse Operator, you will be responsible for managing data within our Logistic Management system (SAP SP1), maintaining spreadsheets, shipping and receiving items, and issuing and receiving parts to and from DND Supply personnel.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage data within the Logistic Management system (SAP SP1)
  • Manage data within a locally produced Electronic Record keeping system
  • Maintain spreadsheets
  • Ship and receive items
  • Issue and receive parts to and from DND Supply personnel
  • Manage the flow of repairable parts and equipment
  • Control of consumable consumption points
  • Stock purchasing
  • Warehouse stock management
  • Other duties as assigned
Requirements
  • 3 years of Supply Chain experience or Military Supply/Traffic Technician
  • Proficient with computer applications (Microsoft Office, ERP systems, etc)
  • Previous experience using SAP an asset
  • Forklift experience an asset
  • Availability to work extended hours, evenings, on call, occasional shift work etc
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Self-motivated and ability to prioritize workload
  • The ability to work both independently and in a team environment
  • The ability to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced and continuously evolving work environment
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written)
  • Able to obtain and maintain Level II - Secret clearance
  • Able to obtain and maintain ITAR / CCG clearance
