About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Portfolio Optimization Manager to join our team at Scotiabank. As a key member of our Global Transaction Banking team, you will play a critical role in driving business growth and profitability through effective portfolio optimization strategies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement portfolio optimization strategies to maximize revenue and minimize risk.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify new business opportunities and develop strategic plans to capitalize on them.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitor activity.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and internal teams.
  • Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and performance metrics to ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with portfolio optimization initiatives.
Requirements
  • 3-5 years of experience in portfolio management, financial analysis, or a related field.
  • Advanced skills in financial modeling, data analysis, and business intelligence tools.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Ability to think critically and strategically, with a focus on driving business growth and profitability.
