About the Role

We are seeking a highly detail-oriented and organized Localization Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team at Amber. As a Localization QA Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and accuracy of our localized content.

Key Responsibilities
  • Test video game titles and verify all text, images, and voice-over components in Spanish (LATAM) to ensure linguistic, visual, and cultural accuracy.
  • Identify and report translation, contextual, cultural, and other linguistic errors in video game titles.
  • Provide clear and concise error reports in a bug-tracking database and/or translation document.
  • Collaborate with the team to resolve errors and improve the linguistic and translated content.
  • Follow and respect terminology guidelines to ensure consistency and accuracy.
  • Cross-check issues between different languages with your team to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Communicate effectively with the Test Lead and address any issues or concerns.
Requirements
  • Native-level language competency in Spanish (LATAM).
  • Proof of existing eligibility to work in Canada.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience using mobile, PC, and console devices and knowledge of their terminology.
  • Passion for video games and a strong attention to detail.
  • Professional competency in English.
