Job Summary: Occupational Health and Safety Manager sought to lead the development and implementation of the Occupational Health program at St. Boniface Hospital, ensuring a safe and healthy workplace for employees, patients, and visitors.

The Occupational Health and Safety Manager will be responsible for managing the designated Occupational Health functions, including the efficient utilization and management of human, material, and financial resources. This will involve providing leadership in the development, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of systems and goals.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Five years' experience in an Occupational Health and Safety setting or equivalent experience.
  • Leadership experience, including team management, data analysis, and project management.
  • Experience in research and data analysis, program planning, development, and evaluation.
  • Advanced preparation in Occupational Health and Safety, including knowledge of relevant policies, protocols, and programs.

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Demonstrated leadership and team building skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to establish collegial and managerial relationships with superiors, peers, and subordinates.
  • Integrity, dependability, honesty, initiative, and high ethical standards.
