Job Summary

Magnum Cementing Services is seeking a highly skilled Remedial Cement Operator to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for safely operating and maintaining our cementing equipment, performing routine maintenance tasks, and supporting our operational business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and operate cementing equipment, including pumps and mixers, to ensure safe and efficient operations.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as lubricating equipment and inspecting components, to prevent downtime and ensure optimal performance.
  • Support our operational business by assisting with job preparations, incident reporting, and customer communication.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including customers and colleagues.
  • Participate in training and development activities to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • Valid Class 1 (Canada) / Class A CDL (U.S.) driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Physically capable of moving/lifting heavy objects up to 23 kg, bending, standing, gripping, sitting/driving, walking, and climbing repeatedly for extended periods.
  • Able to work outdoors for extended periods of time and in all types of weather conditions.
  • Able to be on call 24 hours on a 15 days on a 6 days off rotational schedule, remaining fit for duty at all times (subject to change due to market conditions).
  • Able to work in congested or confined areas, and with exposure to loud noises and vibration.
  • Legally eligible to work in the country the role is based out of.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in oil and gas field operations.
  • Experience with rig in and rig out procedures, mixing and pumping, pressure tests, plug drops, wash ups, final inspections, and clean up.
  • Experience with equipment and components, including pumping equipment.
  • Maintenance knowledge, mechanically inclined, and able to troubleshoot.
  • Strong understanding of DOT regulations and required paperwork.
  • Strong work ethic, positive attitude, reliable, and dependable.
  • Flexible and able to adapt to change.
  • Understands the importance of safety.
  • Team player and customer service focused.
  • Demonstrated initiative and results orientated.
