Harmac Pacific Pulp is a privately held company that operates a Northern Bleached Softwood Kraft pulp mill on Vancouver Island. Our employee ownership model empowers employees to participate in the running of the business.

About the Opportunity

We are seeking an Accounts Payable Coordinator to join our team on a full-time basis. In this role, you will support the financial management of the business by:

  • Processing purchase orders and coded invoices, ensuring proper approvals and accuracy.
  • Maintaining relationships with procurement, internal approvers, and vendors.
  • Reconciling vendor statements and responding to vendor inquiries.
  • Reviewing and updating vendor and customer information.
  • Processing incoming and outgoing mail, including weekly cheque disbursements.
  • Reconciling employee meal tickets to invoices.
  • Assisting with AR billing and customer follow-up.
  • Assisting with other tasks in the department as needed.
About the Ideal Candidate

We are looking for a motivated and organized individual with previous Accounts Payable experience within an ERP system such as Microsoft Dynamics AX/D365. Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite of products is essential.
