Registered Nurse Class A position available at EM/ANB Inc. in Perth-Andover, New Brunswick. Coordinate patient care, assess needs, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.

Job Description:

As a Registered Nurse Class A, you will be responsible for coordinating the care of each patient, incorporating the nursing profession's values of knowledge, theory, and practice. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate the needs of patients and significant others in the delivery of care, collaborating with all members of the interdisciplinary team in this approach.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and plan patient care, incorporating nursing values and best practices.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive patient care.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans, evaluating patient progress and adjusting plans as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care delivery.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development of policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Diploma in Nursing or Bachelor Degree in Nursing.
  • Registration with the Nurses Association of New Brunswick.
  • Minimum two years of specialized nursing experience in family practice, surgical, palliative care, or oncology.
  • Knowledge of the target population of Extra-Mural Services and available community services.
  • Valid New Brunswick Class 5 Driver's License and good driving record.
  • Clean criminal record check.
  • CPR Level C certification.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, good judgment, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to work all shifts, maintaining a good attendance record.
  • High regard for confidentiality.
  • Excellent work habits and professional appearance.
