SOMMAIRE

Le/la directeur.trice technique artistique sera responsable de la gestion et de la supervision de l'équipe technique. Le titulaire établit le lien entre la vision artistique du jeu et sa mise en œuvre technique.


RESPONSABILITÉS

  • Collaborer étroitement avec les intervenants pour définir et maintenir des spécifications et des lignes directrices;
  • Créer, maintenir et déboguer des outils et des scripts;
  • Évaluer et optimiser le pipeline existant en proposant des solutions techniques;
  • S'assurer que les membres de l'équipe respectent toutes les normes et directives techniques;
  • Rédiger la documentation technique et s'assurer qu'elle est accessible et à jour;
  • Fournir du coaching aux artistes et programmeurs si nécessaire;
  • Établir les priorités et prévoir la planification de l'automatisation des pipelines;
  • Soutenir les programmeurs sur le développement d'outils d'automatisation de pipeline.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Un minimum de 5 ans d'expérience professionnelle équivalente dans l'industrie du jeu;
  • A expédié au moins 1 jeu en tant que directeur artistique technique sur un titre AAA;
  • Sensibilités artistiques de haut niveau et solides compétences techniques;
  • Maîtrise d'au moins un programme 3D majeur et confortable dans un autre (3DsMax, Maya, Cinema 4D, etc.); Maîtrise de la 3Ds Max un atout;
  • Connaissance d'au moins un moteur de jeu majeur (Unreal, CryEngine, etc.); la maîtrise d'Unreal est un plus;
  • Doit être capable de travailler confortablement avec les langages de script courants (Python, MaxScript, PyMel, etc.);
  • Autonome et flexible avec organisation du travail;
  • Organisé et capable de structurer les processus;
  • Compétences éprouvées en leadership et en communication;

Lieu de travail

Pour ce poste, une présence au bureau de Montréal, Canada est requise un minimum de deux jours par semaine.
