Responsabilités

  • Travailler sur l'automatisation et la configuration en tant que code pour l'architecture fondamentale liée à la connectivité entre plusieurs fournisseurs de services Cloud
  • Solide expérience en infrastructure et technologies Cloud Public
  • Responsable de la connexion d'applications complexes et multi-niveaux de l'infrastructure sur site vers le Cloud Public
  • Travailler en étroite collaboration avec la gestion de produit et les fournisseurs pour développer et déployer des services Cloud afin de répondre aux attentes des clients


Exigences :

  • Expérience avec l'un des fournisseurs de services Cloud suivants – Azure / AWS (préférence pour Azure)
  • Expérience en Kubernetes et technologies basées sur des conteneurs
  • Bonne expérience avec l'infrastructure en tant que code (Terraform)
  • Développer des outils et des capacités en libre-service
  • Solides compétences en développement en Python, Java ou Golang
  • Bonne expérience dans un langage de script tel que le shell scripting

We are looking for a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer with 5+ years of experience to join a global team of engineers for our banking client in Montreal.


Additional Information

The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors. In accordance with law, the base salary for this role if filled within Montreal is CAD $90k – CAD $95k/year & benefits (see below).


The Role

Responsibilities:

  • Work on automation and configuration as code for foundational architecture related to connectivity across multiple Cloud service providers
  • Strong background in infrastructure and Public Cloud technologies
  • Responsible for connecting complex, multi-tier applications from on-prem to the Public Cloud
  • Work closely with Product Management and vendors to develop and deploy Cloud services to meet customer expectations


Requirements:

You are:

  • Experience in any of the following cloud service providers – Azure / AWS (Preference is Azure).
  • Experience in Kubernetes and Container-based technologies
  • Sound experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform)
  • Develop tooling and self-service capabilities
  • Strong development skills in Python, Java or Golang
  • Sound experience in scripting language such as shell scripting
  • Experience in leading development in projects in distributed enterprise environments.
  • Experience of setting up a new development project using modern tools and practices including git, Jenkins, test-driven development, and continuous integration in a Linux-based environment
  • Sound knowledge of infrastructure and cloud computing
  • Ability to mentor and develop more Jr. programmers, including participating in constructive code reviews
  • Collaborate with developers and infrastructure teams to enhance the developer experience.
  • Strong software design knowledge/skills with SDLC experience


Desired Skills:

  • 3+ years of experience in working in Azure / AWS / GCP
  • Working with teams using Scrum, Kanban, or other Agile practices
  • Proficiency with standard Linux command line and debugging tools
  • Experience of working with RESTful APIs, especially to manage, configure, compute, and storage infrastructure
  • Knowledge of how to write comprehensive unit tests, including the mocking of external utilities and APIs
  • Knowledge of Typescript, Golang, NoSQL will be an added advantage
  • Located in Montreal for hybrid work model
