Job Summary

Our office in Ottawa, Ontario is looking for a BIM Modeler to assist with designing buildings and providing technical support to our structural projects in areas such as Life Sciences, Tech, Civic, Education, Mixed-use, and Healthcare.


In this role you will:

  • Assist with developing drawing sets, plans and details with Engineers
  • Provide guidance to Engineers for detail development
  • Develop and co-ordinate construction documents
  • May act as a coordinator on projects


You will be a great fit if: You have been BIM Modeling and drafting for a few years and love it. You're passionate about designing residential, commercial, industrial, pharmaceutical and healthcare buildings. You love to collaborate with a technically proficient team. And you never stop growing.


Skills/abilities:


  • Completion of a technical college diploma in Architecture/Engineering or Construction
  • 3-5 years of structural drafting experience and a minimum of 1 year experience with Revit Structure
  • Experience in drafting/modelling steel, concrete, wood and masonry structures for buildings. Experience in Architecture modelling will be considered. Previous experience in Building Science environment is a bonus.
  • Highly organized and detail oriented
  • Ability to work with design team and work on multiple projects at the same time
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills. French and English capacity would be beneficial but not mandatory.
  • Able to work with the design team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Ability to work overtime when required


Location: Ottawa, ON, Canada – Hybrid position


Travel: Little to no travel required.
