The Product Operations Lead is responsible for overseeing the entire product lifecycle, from

development to distribution. This role requires a deep understanding of product design, quality,

regulatory compliance, and manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate will be a strategic

thinker with strong leadership and problem-solving skills.


Responsibility Snapshot:

  • Lead the implementation of the product roadmap, ensuring that goals are met within deadlines without compromising quality or regulatory compliance
  • Assist with the realization of strategic and operating plans, budgets, goals and outcomes
  • Follow established quality procedures to minimize compliance risk and ensure commercial product integrity and implement improvements in line with QMS requirements to optimize efficiency.
  • Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure efficient and compliant manufacturing processes.
  • Manage supply chain relationships and contract manufacturers.
  • Oversee production and identify areas for improvement.
  • Investigate non-conformances and implement corrective actions.
  • Ensure products meet all relevant regulatory standards (e.g., FDA, Health Canada).
  • Support regulatory submissions and audits.
  • Support the development of intellectual property.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, science, or a related field
  • Proven experience in product operations, manufacturing, or quality assurance
  • Understanding of regulatory requirements (e.g., ISO 13485, FDA)
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions
  • Preferred: Experience in a regulated industry (e.g., medical devices, pharmaceuticals)
