The Director of Brand Marketing, Public Relations, and Event Planning will be a strategic leader responsible for planning and executing comprehensive marketing strategies, managing public relations, and overseeing event planning to promote brand awareness and scale our Boomerang brand. This role demands a creative thinker with exceptional leadership skills, a proven track record in brand management, and a deep understanding of event coordination and media relations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Brand Planning: Develop and execute strategic plans to enhance brand awareness and market presence. Create innovative marketing campaigns and initiatives designed to scale the Boomerang brand effectively.
  • Brand Development: Continuously strategize and develop ideas to elevate brand perception and recognition. Drive brand consistency across all platforms and communications.
  • Public Relations: Design and implement public relations strategies to build and maintain a positive image. Manage media relationships, create press releases, and engage with influencers to amplify brand messaging.
  • Event Planning: Oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of high-impact events, including product launches, trade shows, and corporate gatherings. Ensure events align with brand values and deliver exceptional experiences.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and inspire a team. Promote a collaborative environment and drive performance to meet departmental and company goals.
  • Analytics and Reporting: Monitor and analyze the performance of marketing and PR initiatives. Provide regular insights and reports to senior management, optimizing strategies based on data-driven results.
  • Budget Management: Develop and manage budgets for marketing, PR, and event activities. Ensure efficient allocation of resources and cost-effective execution.
  • Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams, including sales, product development, and customer service, to ensure cohesive brand messaging and successful campaign execution.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field. An MBA or relevant advanced degree is a plus.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in brand marketing, public relations, and event planning, with a proven ability to scale brand initiatives effectively.
  • Demonstrated success in developing and executing strategic brand marketing plans and successful PR campaigns.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience in guiding high-performance teams.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) for designing and producing marketing materials.
  • Expertise in HubSpot, including creating and managing marketing campaigns, lead generation, and performance tracking.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling messages and effectively engage with media and stakeholders.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Creative problem-solving abilities and a keen eye for detail and innovation.
