We are seeking a seasoned Program Manager with experience in process implementation and project management to join our client, a crown corporation on an 18-24 month contract. Reporting to the Director of Stakeholder and Community Engagement, you will provide oversight and leadership in work delivery and contribute to the organization’s strategic initiatives. You will inspire, inform, and engage your colleagues by aligning business areas to promote collaboration among four diverse teams, encouraging a more integrated and cohesive working environment.


Roles and Responsibilities

  • Create engagement program plans and workbacks to ensure departmental milestones, commitments, and goals are met.
  • Facilitate the tracking and monitoring of projects, creating objectives and defining scope, roles, and responsibilities.
  • Develop project plans, schedules, risk assessments, and communication using tools that reflect the scope of work and line of business expectations.
  • Schedule and facilitate meetings, agendas, objectives, status updates, notes, and follow-ups.
  • Execute project plans by managing and overseeing resource assignments, managing scope, and ensuring all departmental teams’ deliverables are coordinated.
  • Work with the Director of Stakeholder Engagement to develop resource plans, ensuring appropriate resources are available.
  • Proactively adjust budgets and resources, identifying opportunities to improve processes and build efficiencies, while engaging the appropriate stakeholders prior to making significant changes.
  • Serve as a client manager, building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring their needs are met throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Provide input on sourcing strategies and procurement activities, ensuring the efficient and effective acquisition of necessary resources for the projects.


Qualifications and Skills

  • 8-10 years of experience as a Program Manager or in a program management capacity, preferably within an agency or digital marketing firm.
  • Strong knowledge of project management theory, principles, tools, and practices, including Project Management Institute methodologies.
  • Proficiency in MS Project, Excel, Access, and Word.
  • Experience in business management practices as they relate to the operation of an organization.
  • Familiarity with Agile project management techniques.
  • Ability to handle multiple complex work streams and tasks.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, particularly with senior leadership across business units.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, attention to detail, and the ability to focus under pressure.
  • The ability to organize, direct, and motivate a team, identify roadblocks, and quickly resolve conflicts in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-starter with drive towards excellence, with strong interpersonal, analytical, problem-solving, negotiation, and facilitation skills.
