As the Product Owner, Cabin Crew Journey, you will play a key role in delivering the end-to-end digital experience relating to scheduling, bidding, and pay, for cabin crew at Air Canada and Air Canada Rouge.

Your focus will be on implementing digital products that empower cabin crew across Canada with the tools and capabilities needed to enhance safety, operational efficiency, and cross-departmental communication. You will work closely with the Product Manager to ensure the product vision and roadmap are executed effectively.

This position may be located in Montreal or Toronto.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the Product Manager to execute the digital product vision and roadmap for cabin crew journey at Air Canada and Air Canada Rouge.
  • Detail features and functionality by creating user stories, defining acceptance criteria, triaging bugs, and maintaining a well-prioritized backlog.
  • Participate in all pod-level Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Provide daily support to the development team, offering clarifications, ensuring understanding of product vision, driving quality, and amplifying progress.
  • Collaborate with the QA team to provide clear explanations of acceptance criteria, review and triage reported bugs, and ensure timely resolution.
  • Partner closely with the UI/UX team to ensure a thorough understanding of product requirements and drive the creation of user-centric designs.
  • Conduct user research and interpret analytics to support data-driven discovery, refinement, and prioritization.
  • Work closely with key stakeholders, including cabin crew, crew scheduling, and IFS management, to identify business needs and translate them into comprehensive product requirements.
  • Drive the product lifecycle, from development to launch and continuous enhancement, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
  • Communicate product progress, outcomes, and blockers to the Product Manager and key stakeholders.
  • Stay current on industry trends and emerging technologies.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration) or relevant experience in Aviation and/or Technology.
  • 3+ years of relevant experience in Aviation and/or Technology.
  • Experience working in an Agile environment an asset
  • Experience with In-Flight Services an asset.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the capability to engage effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving acumen, enabling data-driven decision-making and innovation.
  • Results-oriented mindset, with a history of achieving product success and driving business outcomes.
  • A passion for empowering cabin crew through forward-thinking digital solutions.
