Job Summary

As the Head of Maintenance and Engineering, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient operation, safety, and reliability of our organization’s facilities, equipment, and infrastructure. Your responsibilities will span across maintenance, engineering, and process improvement, with a focus on new product introduction and automation. You’ll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to drive excellence in our operations.

How you can help us in this role:
  • Maintenance and Engineering Leadership:
    • Lead and manage a team of engineers, technicians, and maintenance professionals.
    • Oversee the scheduling, planning, and execution of all maintenance and repair work, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
    • Develop and implement a comprehensive preventive maintenance program to reduce emergency repairs and maintain facility efficiency.
  • New Product Introduction (NPI):
    • Collaborate with R&D and New Product Development teams to develop strategies for introducing new products.
    • Ensure seamless integration of new products into existing manufacturing processes.
    • Monitor the status of NPI projects and coordinate with stakeholders to ensure high-quality product launches.
  • Production Machinery and Automation:
    • Manage large-scale capital projects related to production machinery and automation.
    • Optimize existing processes through automation to improve efficiency and productivity.
    • Work closely with senior management to track project progress and meet budget and timeline goals.
  • Health, Safety, and Compliance:
    • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations across maintenance and engineering services.
    • Enforce contractor health and safety standards.
    • Appoint, manage, and ensure the availability of authorized and competent personnel for engineering and maintenance activities.
  • Continuous Improvement:
    • Drive continuous improvement initiatives in maintenance practices, engineering processes, and automation.
    • Collaborate with other departments to enhance overall operational efficiency.
